60 watt Chinese yellow and black 700mmX400mm. Went in to turn it on and nothing. Using a voltage tester to make sure I have power coming in and it lights up on everything like the whole system is shorted out. This has happened since hurricane Sally. Not sure if we got any lightning but we got a lot of rain. What can I check first and how? Power supply unit? E-Stop Switch? Thanks for any help!

Not familar with you machine but:
Look for a fuse or breaker on your machine - test it
There is usually a fuse in the HV power supply - it should have a few indicator lights - if the light and the fan is running it is probably working
Check the e-switch not engaged -
Check the door interlocks if any

Thanks Pete,
I have checked the e-stop and the keyed power switch, both tested okay. I found one fuse where the power comes in to the machine. I will have to copen the HV/PSU to see if it has a fuse or not. BTW, I h as very power to switch and E-stop and into the machine from there but no lights or movement, nothing. I wss I'll open the PSU when I get home. There is no sign of fan or lights on the HV/PSU.

You might check the E-Stop itself. I had the original one shipped with my machine melt internally. Luckily it was a two piece switch so i didn't have to mess with the top half. Did have one minor mis-hap. The manufacturer set replacements for both the main and E-stop. Didn't realize the difference between the red and green switch bodies. On is No and the other is NC. Had to run three days with the E-stop pushed in until I had a break to tear into it again and swap the switch bodies out.
Just re read your post. If you have power on the output side of the E-stop... never mind.

Assuming you do have indicator lights and a fan in/on the HV power supply and they are not illuminating /rotating then I would suspect power supply as having failed.
mine worked on day and not the next - there does not appear to be a "gradual "failure on a HV pwr supply in any instance I am familiar with nor mine in particular.
