hi peeps i used my rotary earlier for the first time and it worked perfect :) then when i unplugged it and put the settings back on the driver to original the laser seems to have changed some settings, i then made the mistake of doing a factory reset on the controller :( i have now restored the settings from the rescue files on here and the laser is now back in the same state it was pre factory reset, so my X Axis is fine and travels the whole 700mm wide but the Y Axis only travels about 250mm or half of the bed size of 500m, im thinking that is a steps issue but im not sure what to put in to fix it :( im using lightbrun but i did also install RD works to get the settings restored, any help would be greatly appreciated.

:)

In Vendor settings [or machine in LB as I recall] you can calibrate your X and Y axis to be sure they are both accurate at 100mm- they are normally the same for X&Y- I would check that first. I just looked and cannot see how to make the adjustment in LB but it can be done in RDw and you can check the step length in LB at least.
