Hi,
I follow the scheme to connect a air valve to RDC6442S controller.
So I connect the 24V DC NC valve to pin 5 and 6.
After I turn on the machine, the valve it's close (and this is ok).
After I start the engraving, the valve open itself (and also this is ok).
When the program that I launched end (or if I stop it mannually), the valve remain open (and this is not ok). So, the air continue to pass to the nozzle.

Can you help me?

Pin 5 and 6 in CN1, I confirm.

have you tried without connecting to the compressor or with lower pressure? maybe the pressure maintains the valve open because the spring/magnet is not powerful enough to close against the flow?

Yes, I tried also without air, but the valve don't close.

So, I measured the volt on pin 5-6:
- before I start, the Volt is 0;
- after start engraving, the Volts are 19,8
- after the end of engraving, the Volts are 19,6.

Without the valve, all seems ok: before the start the volt is 0, after the start go to 23,something and after the end drop again to 0.

Try adding a layer - the last layer that is set to:
Is Output No
if Blowing No

perhaps the system is remembering the last command sent to the valve

I tried, but anything changes.
Also if I add a second layer with output ON and blowing OFF, the blowing don't stop.

Please note this:

I didn't use a diode between positive and negative of valve, I must insert that?

That is good... But that valve is for short duty- it should really be a motorized ball valve.
