Hi All,

After being a fan of Russ his videos for a longer time i just realized i never subscribed to the forum.
About me: Dimitri Modderman, dutch laser Enthousiast.
Build my own showlasers that i use to perform lasershows at festivals, build my own 100W 1250x630mm lasercutter in 2013, bought an AEON Nova 13 last year (July 2020). In between those lasers i bought a 30W Raycus fiber laser.
I translated the Dutch version of Lightburn, am active chairman of a hackerspace in the netherlands (https://bitlair.nl).

Furthermore i visit hackerspaces and hackerfestivals around Europe and always love a good talk about lasers, be it visible or invisible lasers.
Before corona i frequently visited Laser meetings (for show lasers) called LEMs around the world (UK, US and Germany).
Basically some people (30-150) that lock themselves up to play with (Show)lasers.
We need something like that for lasercutters too ;-)

Have made some youtube movies about improvements i made to my Aeon laser (ultimate air assist ofcourse and a holder to hold the autofocus probe when using other than stock lenses, for instance American Photonics lenses, or my Beambuddy.

Any questions, feel free to ask!

Kind regards,
Dimitri
