Greetings,

Been building a Y-1200 design from FurtherFabrications and now I'm ready to start setting up the Ruida. I've messed around with a K-40 and did fairly well with that, now looking to expand my cutting area. I've modded the Y-1200 design to have a cut area of 48" x 36" with a Z range of 18".
About me... I'm 39 with 4 boys ages 5-14, retired from the US Army as a CH-47F pilot and doing laser cutting and engraving as a hobby, maybe small part-time business one day.

I'm a couple of weeks away from setting up my Ruida RDC6445G from Cloudray. Would you please do a step by step thread on your setup. There are several people building the Y 1200 and it may help them also.
