Hello to all,
I retired quite a few years ago and had decided recently to add to my workshop a CO2 laser.
Having watched many video's from Russ and MWLaser it pushed me to move ahead.
My intention is to build (all parts arrived except extrusions) a metal, non metal 1300 x 900 unit which will enhance my current workshop capabilities.
Link below shows a little of what I do, I lack laser engrave/cut capacity
Cheers to all
W

A big thanks for your advice, yes belatedly on my part.
The build is finished for now, improvements to options have already started of course.
The forum shows little data on lfs systems, wiring etc and I wonder whether any of my build data would help others. The wiring was problematic for lfs initially until I could see alternate options or solutions.

I used maycad for overview of frameup, 6060,6030,3030 on wheels
Ruida 6332 and lfs t43 on a duel tube platform. 180w, 50w
As I have a penchant for over optimising this thing is loaded to the Max.
Use either metal cut or lightburn, lb is preference.
Rotary axis
Basic size is 2100 long, 1700 high, 1600 deep with vacuum table and on board storage for chiller and sheets
