I have a Chinese grey laser with an 50w tube. I believe it's an older version of the blue and white. I picked it up of Facebook Marketplace last year to support my partner who does personalised frames online. The last year she's been smashing it and we made the jump to get our own. I'm a designer by profession and love being locked away in the garage left to my own devices so why not.
Unfortunately with this machine being second hand it has meant the machine has had some issues. First it was a cracked lens, mirrors rusted, bad vendor settings, PSU blew out etc etc. It's proving a challenge to keep it on track but need support as since I did the vendor settings the burn has been off a little. From knowing nothing I feel I'm starting to pick up stuff but the learning curve has been steep!
I mostly use Light burn but with me having vendor setting issues this week I have begun using RD works too. What can I say Im a typical Apple Mac designer!!! Hahaha
Hopefully this clan can help me get back on track and then I can post the knowledge back on here to help.
