Hi I'm a leatherworker in a tourist area of Australia and I am looking to improve my work using a 50w laser cutter/engraver.
This is my first time using a laser and I have just received the machine.

I've retired five years ago. I was a beekeeper running 200 organic hives for 20 years and prior to that an analyst/programmer.

The leatherwork I started doing about 4Years ago from scratch to keep me out of mischief.
My work can be seen on Facebook @ Kangaroo Island Leathercraft

Welcome Jim- beautiful leather work. We advise saving your Vendor and User file ASAP, they are often and easy to lose and can be hard to recreate.
I would think the laser would be useful for leatherwork but you will want a very strong exhaust fan... the smell is not pleasant. Gene
