I have the original laser power supply and now a separate 24 volt one ( for the steppers and Ruida controller ), I have the two supplies connected to each other ( ground ) through the laser control connections on the Ruida and then back to the original power supply,
Question is should I add an additional connection from the 24 volt Ground, the negative output to another on the Ruida some where ??
Thank you foe any help...........stevep

 Fire extinguisher (for big fires)
Generally, you only want to have a single ground (earth) connection between supplies. Having multiple ground connections will cause a "ground loop", which is a Bad Thing and can cause unusual behavior in electronic circuits.
