New controller, 6445, in old machine. Loaded up rescue file and did some adjustments. XY homes then moves to the center of the table. did not do this at first, Z just sits there, no home. What settings are off? Thanks

Sounds like it's moving to the origin instead of home. That's a menu choice. Is Z home enabled? It's off by default.

Ok, homing correctly now. Moved XY manually to home, pushed origin. XY good, z still not.

Z enable depends on your version of RDWorks I believe.
In .54, it's under the user tab on the right, under the Other radio button in Return Parameters.
FYI, there are two flavors of the 6445, the S and the G. S is single laser tube support, the G is two tubes. Takes different firmware. My latest firmware I have for the 6445G is .22.

@Dave
Is there a place where firmware updates get published?
I did not found anything on www.rd-acs.com regarding firmware for controller or HMI.

Not that I know of. If you bought the machine from a regular supplier, they will have the updates as they are allowed to tweak them for their machine with their company logo. The last one I got was directly from Ruida as I was working on some other problems and doing a little beta testing. I haven't contacted them recently, and Cloudray is pleading ignorance at firmware upgrades.
I have the .22 in a folder at the top of my Google Mod Page if that helps. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

Thanks for the link.
My Controller is on firmware 26.01.13. I think because of the new touchscreen HMI there is a higher version number in the 2x range.
As i bought my RDC6445GT5 from Cloudray i hope they will respond to my mail with all the issues.
I asked them to forward my mail to RD and offered them to help with GUI-translation as well as testing etc...
I will start a new thread regarding this Controller.
Could be helpful to others.
