Hello all. I'm Al from West Virginia and happy to have found this forum. Saw Russ on YT and was impressed with his knowledge.
I'm a retired machinist/mold maker/first responder and wanted a interesting hobby to keep me busy. Bought a K40 and stripped it down and modified it, adding Cohesion 3D, camera and cutting head upgrade, using Lightburn software.
Very much appreciate the shared knowledge from everyone and hope to also contribute in the future.
Hello from West Virginia

Welcome Alfred- we recommend you save your Vendor/machine parameters [per the FAQ section] as these are often lost and are hard to find. As you say this is a great hobby and it keeps your mind exercised. Gene
