Hi Folks,

I just saw a couple of videos on YouTube about using borax to help when engraving wood. It made the burn marks VERY black - much better contrast for photos, etc. Has anyone here tried it? I'm away from my laser (sniff...) until after Christmas, so I can't try it myself.

Hi Gene,

I haven't watched any of Russ' videos for a while (blasphemy!), so I went back to YouTube and checked. I didn't see any vids that were obviously about using borax on wood. Could you provide more info when you have a chance?
