Long-retired electrical engineer with 50+ years military/industry experience. Trying to stay "sharp" by playing with my hobbies... CNC, 3d-printing, and lasers, both diode and CO2. Have built numerous DIY CNC and diode laser machines for personal use, often just to play with different drive systems. Have an OMTech 50W CO2 machine that, sadly, I don't use as often as I should. Located in rural East Texas, about 60 miles southeast of Dallas.
