Hi all!

A client asked me to engrave their logo onto multiple 'snackplates' (don't know a better word :D ). They are all differently shaped, so I couldn't make a template for them. I came up with a simple solution; I cut out a template of the logo out of thick cardboard with a hole in the center that fits the nozzle of my laserhead. I glued the paper template to the nozzle with a few small drops of hobby glue, to prevent is from falling off the laser head during the engraving job.
Because the paper template is centered to the laserhead, in the software I set the job origin to the center of the logo. This made positioning the engraving onto the snackplates really easy!

I included some pictures to make it more clear. (Note that I sanded the plates down after engraving, before I sent them to my client ;) )
