Old Noobie buys a laser Engraver

Hi there, I'm Ken - I live in South Wales in the UK.
I have been woodworking and the such for about 20 years now and have just got into the laser engraver/cutting school of things.
Spent a lot of time on the lathe, fretsaw and pyrography and am looking to make a change in my workflow to allow laser engravers to enhance the work I do.

I noticed a post on here relating to the Gold method for photoshop to enhance images for engraving and could not see the zips so I have subbed to this forum.

Hopefully should be a smooth transition and looking for any assistance possible.

I have just picked up the Ortur master 2 pro with air assist and what I've tested seems to be OK, just need to get it looking better.

Welcome ken - be sure to back up you vendor settings.

not quite sure I know what you mean by "back up vendor setting"

Vendor settings are the values in the controller that define your machine settings.....speeds, velocity, timings, etc
