Hello
My name is Milos. I am CNC operator, finished high school and working on CNC machines since ( 8 years). I had job on milling steel for moulds, and steel press punctures. Than on wire erosion, and afterwards on alubond faccades cutting on CNC.
Now im working od milling 3 axis plotter for wood, plywood,MDF etc.
In couple days my very first machine LASER CUTTER is coming. With ruida control 60 x 40 cm table and 60w pipe. Im here to get to know better about Ruida and cutting on laser itself. I was working a bit on laser bigger scale, but had no much time with it.
I know i will learn much from here and you will learn something of me.
This is it for now.
Thank you all

Welcome Milos- working with CNC machines will make learning the laser much easier. Several of us also have various CNC equipment- each has its pros and cons- the laser is great because most of the 'holddown' problems do not apply which makes setup much easier. When you get your machine be sure to make copies of your machine files as they are easy to lose, especially when learning the program and machine. As you do not know the software, I would advise looking at Lightburn software as it is far superior to the RDworks software most of us started with. The originator of LB is a member here.
Have fun, Gene

Thank you very much for your advices. I already heard about LB,and im planning next steps to get it. I just want to try RDworks first so i can myself tell
what are the differences, Because i have worked on much complicated softwares, and i want to get my own judgement. But i believe LB is way easier and faster.
Thank you again
