order by layer not working

I have just replaced my laser programming pc with a windows 11 box. I installed rdworks .60

I tend to run my laser based on layer order, so that I can determine order priority to suit the types of items I am working on.

I ran a wee job today, layer 1 was just a non cutting datum positioning, layer 2 was the cutting. I have selected the processing "order by layer" but it went straight to layer 2.

Model is set to auto and correctly picks up ruida 6442G

Anyone else experienced this, or can point me to some things to check.

Hi Ian,

I believe that is the normal operation of RDWorks when you select a layer output to "No".
