Hello
I hope this is the correct way to post a question
I've been following directions that I read on the website
How to set your maximum laser cutting power % in vendor settings
https://laseruser.com/laser-cutting-pow ... 2MvxDMrn3k
and am having this problem:
I built a CO2 laser using the parts I ordered from LightObject. I am finally doing some testing and I am running into a problem getting the output of the laser tube to be below 22 mAmp. The tube specs recommend 20mA max and 18mA working. I can get the output to be 23mA if I set the max power to be 20% in the Ruida controller. However, if I set Maximum power at 1% and minimum power at 1% percent the output is still 22-23mA. I've read this could be a problem with the laser tube or the power supply. I'm hoping to get some advice as to what to try now.
My laser tube:
SPT C45 50W laser tube
https://lightobject.com/spt-c45-50w-co2 ... Laser+Tube
20mA max, 18mA working
Jupiter Co. 60W-75W PWM CO2 laser power supply
Model LO60W
DC out 25kv 24mA max
In 110v +- 10% 60/60 Hz
Running Windows 11
Ruida Controller R6445G RDLC-v35.01.12
LightBurn 2.0.4
Thanks so much for your help!
