My wife and I run a small t-shirt business. We had been interested in a laser cutter/engraver for quite some time, but were put off by the high cost of a brand name vs the high risk of a Chinese laser. I happened upon Russ' series on YouTube and commenced a binge fest.
Since we have a tight budget, it was relieving to see what is possible with these devices. We purchased a 50W (40W) blue/dark grey machine from ebay a couple of weeks ago. Although, I'm patiently awaiting the compound lens to arrive from China, I have been successful in quickly learning the unit.
My next step, after I churn out some pieces for an upcoming craft sale, will be to get the rotary attachment all figured out.
