I’m currently using RDWorks 8 (it was recommended by Laguna) but curious about Light Burn. What’s the preferred choice here? I’ve got some current issues and don’t know if it’s a software or hardware issue. Thanks in advance!
Eric
Thanks for the reply Pete! It’s good to be here!Pete Cyr wrote: Sun Dec 08, 2019 Welcome Eric. Depending on what you already have for design software Lightburn is much better than RDWORKS.
I only use RDWORKS to format files I have created in other software for the laser.
Thanks for the reply Gene! Yea, I figured out pretty quickly that I wasn’t going to be using RDworks to create anything! HA! Annoying is an understatement!Gene Uselman wrote: Sun Dec 08, 2019 I would also say that Lightburn has many [maybe most] of the graphic creation features needed- RDworks is vary basic and I might add annoying in this respect. I don't even try to correct anything that I import into RDw- it is easier and quicker to fix it in another program.
By the way, I’m gonna go ahead and guess that you’re a Formula One fan? I loooooooove F1!!!Gene Uselman wrote: Sun Dec 08, 2019 I would also say that Lightburn has many [maybe most] of the graphic creation features needed- RDworks is vary basic and I might add annoying in this respect.
