I have the same remote as Gene .... it was his post that got me thinking to order one ... I love it .... but I don't use rechargeable Batteries .... but it works great for alignment and positioning .

That was one of the selling points for getting the 6445 when I upgraded, network connectivity. It's a manual IP address set, but the Android app works well for me.
