Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me. I need to replace the stepper motor on the z-axis. It is a small nema 23(https://www.oyostepper.es/category-7-b0 ... MA-23.html
) . I want to replace it with some motors with more torque. Is it possible to use a hybrid motor only on the z-axis? I am using a CS-Labs CSM10/IP-M motion controller and Mach3. Thanks
Hybrid stepper motor

The Hybrid stepper servo motor set-up still uses a standard stepper motor. Is there a particular reason you need to updrade the stepper motor on the Z-axis? Normally the Z-axis is specified as a standard stepper motor even on systems that utilise Hybrid stepper servo technology on their X & Y axis.
